Surrounded by the student athletes of Somerset High School are (l-r): Firefighter Bengie Howard, Sheriff Todd Wood, Jason Lutz (Honeywell), Chris Kingsley, David and Libby Morris (Modern Systems owners), Kevin Lloyd, Superintendent Boyd Randolph, Deputy Scott West, Officer Jordan Holtzclaw, Captain Junior Fortenberry.

Employees of Modern Systems, Inc. and Somerset High School athletes, along with other members of the community, have been featured in a Honeywell Advertisement. It can be found on the back cover of the September Issue of Security Sales & Integration Magazine, the industry’s number one technology and business authority. The advertisement focuses on the team effort between Modern Systems and Honeywell, one of the top providers in security technology, in designing a panic alarm system for schools under Operation Security Blanket.

One of the questions this ad poses is why is it that we chose Honeywell for our security product manufacturer. The answer is simple. Honeywell offers the best security products available to the industry. Not only are their products reliable, but they are affordable- meaning we can pass the savings on to our customers. The security systems Honeywell offers are easy to use and easy to integrate with other home technology. Not only can the systems protect your home, but they can enable you to have control over various aspects of your home such as lighting, thermostats, garage doors and door locks. Honeywell is constantly working to improve their systems and their mobile app, Total Connect. For us the choice was simple. We want to provide the very best to our customers in both reliability and cost, and Honeywell enables us to do just that.
